Archaeology at Reading has an international reputation for the quality of its research and the excellence of its teaching. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, it was rated top in the UK for world-leading research in Archaeology. We pride ourselves on providing a stimulating and friendly environment for postgraduate students to pursue research.
As part of a larger School of Human and Environmental Sciences you will have access to a wide range of high quality laboratory and computing facilities. Strong links with other Schools and Departments in the University offer access to resources for both humanities-based and science-based archaeological research.
