Career opportunities

Graduates from this degree will be well equipped to enter a career in the food industry particularly in marketing and other business functions for a range of companies from small family firms to multinational corporations. When applying for jobs in the food industry your degree can be used to demonstrate your strong interest and knowledge of the industry. It is important to emphasise however that many of the skills you will develop – in business, marketing and economics for example - are transferable to other industries and professions. Your career options are therefore not narrowly prescribed.
