The environment continues to offer exciting and rewarding careers. This course aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need for a range of careers involved in the management of the environment, countryside and their components. Examples of employers include the National Trust, RSPB, FWAG, Thames Water and Savills.

The course is designed so that in addition to taking core modules you can specialize by taking a pathway in habitats and landscape management, agri-environmental management or rural business management. Alternatively you can take a mixture of subjects to suit your interests. Between years two and three you may take a sandwich year gaining further work experience if you wish to. In the final year, you will follow modules that have been designed to complete your understanding of business and countryside planning as well as undertaking a project designed to develop your expertise on a subject of your choice, presented as a dissertation.
