Staff at Reading welcome the opportunity of answering any specific questions you may have, either about the nature of the courses themselves, or whatever potential career areas you feel you might be interested in hearing more about. But in the meantime, we thought you might like to know what some of our recent graduates had to say about their experience of studying Agriculture at Reading.

Tom Rabbetts

BSc Agriculture, graduated 2006
Technical and Policy Adviser for Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers

'Studying Agriculture at Reading definitely gave me the chance to gain the essential skills and knowledge to succeed. The degree programme allowed me to choose options that suited me and it is well respected within the agricultural industry, both of which assisted in getting a job I enjoy. The facilities and staff at Reading are second to none, and I met friends during my time there that I will stay in contact with for the rest of my life.'

Helen Drake

BSc Agriculture, graduated 2005
Currently helping to rear 3000 calves in New Zealand

'Reading is a great place to study Agriculture, supported by leading academics in their fields, substantial farms, several major research stations and a caring and friendly community of staff and students.'

Amy Mathews

BSc Agriculture, graduated 2001
Agricultural Researcher for Natwest Bank

'I really enjoyed undergraduate life at Reading because of the wide group of friends I made on the Agriculture course and elsewhere in the University – who are now life-long friends. The course had a more scientific basis than similar courses at other universities, and this quality is recognised by employers.'
