Donor Day 2012
Saturday 24 March 2012, Palmer Building, Whiteknights Campus
By invitation only.
Donor Day is the University's annual opportunity to thank our generous donors in person. As this year is the centenary of the establishment of a Chair of Classical Studies at Reading, and the Olympic Games will be taking place in London, our keynote speaker is Professor Barbara Goff from the Classics Department, who will be sharing insights from Thinking the Olympics, a recently published book she co-edited, which explores how classical traditions have informed the modern day games.
