To Reading Station

Reading railway station is well connected on the major rail networks. There are very frequent fast trains to London Paddington (journey time of 25 minutes), as well as direct trains running regularly to London Waterloo (journey time of approximately 90 minutes) and Gatwick Airport (journey time approximately 75 minutes).

Timetable and prices for all rail journeys can be found on the National Rail website http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ or telephone 08457 48 49 50.

Travelling by Eurostar

The Eurostar train connects Paris Gare du Nord, Lille and Brussels Midi/Zuid to London Waterloo International. Travel time is less than 3 hours between Paris or Brussels and London. For more information check the Eurostar website www.eurostar.com

From Reading Railway Station to Campus

There is a taxi rank immediately outside Reading railway station. In smooth traffic conditions the taxi journey between the station and Whiteknights campus usually takes less than 15 minutes.

If travelling directly to the Agriculture building (where the conference sessions will be held), please specify to the taxi driver that you require the Earley Gate entrance to the Whiteknights campus, off Whiteknights Road. If travelling to the accommodation in Whiteknights Hall, please specify the Whiteknights Hall entrance off Upper Redlands Road.
