This is a framed coloured print entitled 'The Widow's Mite'. It depicts a widow with two daughters in biblical costume and in the bottom right corner is an inscription quoting a passage from the Bible, taken from the book of Mark, chapter twelve, verses 42-43. It dates from the 19th century. The print was found in the Museum unaccessioned and its origin and history are unknown.
