This is a collection of horse brasses in variety of sizes and patterns. Horse brasses were fastened to various parts of the horse's harness for decoration and many are symbolic. This is a circular brass with fluted edges and is decorated with a cut out pattern radiating from the centre. The cut out pattern creates the shape of an eight pointed star. It also has an upper pendant loop. Nothing is known of its origin.
