One from a group of 4 lace-making bobbins. This bobbin is made of bone, decorated with coloured dots.
This is one from a group of four lace-making bobbins which, according to the donor, were used by an old lady in Bedfordshire. This bobbin is made of bone, and is decorated with dots. The bobbin has a spangle (glass beads or ornaments attached to the bottom of the bobbin to provide additional weight) with eleven beads.
