This pencil drawing depicts the fireplace at Sumach Cottage in Kennington, Kent, in 1926. It shows an open fireplace made of stone, with fireback, fire dogs, cupboards and possibly an oven at the sides. There are logs on the fire and a bellows to the right. The piece was drawn by W. G. Simmonds 13th August 1926. This picture was mounted, framed and glazed at Picture craft on London Street, Reading.
