    This is a mezzotint print entitled ‘Pirate’. It was painted by D. Wolstenholme, engraved by D. Wolstenholme Junior, and published on 1 April 1825 by the artist. It depicts Pirate, a Flemish dray horse which belonged to Messrs Reid & Co. It is one of a collection of paintings and prints thought to date from the last quarter of the 18th century to c.1860.
