The additional papers relate chiefly to Edward Arthur ELLIOT (1890-1959), Vicar of South Stoke with Woodcote, co. Oxon., from 1936-1959. Among the interests of Edward Arthur Elliot was the collection and classification of ferns. He was for a time Secretary of the British Pteridological (fern) Society, from which he received the Stansfield Memorial Medal. He also corresponded with the Brooklyn Botanic Garden on horticultural matters
