This is an initiative sponsored by Italian Studies. This workshop is embedded in Part 1 Italian culture modules. The workshop is open nevertheless to all UG and PG students and staff interested in understanding Nazi crimes and the workings of the concentration camps.

Dr Sierp’s talk will cover not only the history of Dachau but also the political and social dynamics underpinning the recent memorialization of the camps.

The event is held on the Holocaust Memorial Day.
