Professor Mark Baker is giving a talk about the Virtual Environments for Research in Archaeology (VERA - http://vera.rdg.ac.uk/) at the Digital Data Management in Archaeology conference that is being held on the 9th November 2009 at the Auditorium Hadewych in Brussels. Professor Baker will be talking about the introduction of new technologies and ideas that were integrated into the Silchester dig, which have helped speed up the process of archiving archaeological information, and also helped the process of sharing the data between remote researchers and also speed-up the publication process.
