Europe

"... it seems daunting at first, leaving Britain and the
familiar studying environment of Reading but you won't want to leave by the end.
The drawbacks of leaving Reading and its cosy environment were easily outweighed
by the benefits gained of living in a vibrant European city, developing your
language skills, studying and viewing the world outside Britain..."
Matthew Alonso (University of Barcelona)
The ERASMUS scheme is a Europe
Union funded scheme aimed at establishing co-operation between Higher Education
Institutions throughout Europe. It offers students the opportunity to be able to
study abroad for a period of between 3 and 12 months in another EU (European
Union), EEA (European Economic Area), CEE (Central & Eastern European) or
"partner" state as part of their undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme.
The University of Reading has numerous
bilateral student exchange agreements with partner institutions in the above
countries. Please click on a specific country or use the banner bar at the side
of the page or consult the
European Exchange Partners link to find
a subject specific list.
Please note that agreements and subsequent
lists produced are subject to change, therefore please contact the
Reading International Office for up-to-date and authoritative
information about current exchanges.
