The purpose of the TSU is to enable staff and students of the Institute of
Education to produce high quality, low cost resources for a variety of
applications.
The support given by TSU staff ranges from providing simple access to user
operated equipment such as a laminator and photocopiers, to providing active
assistance in the production process and finally producing resources on the
behalf of the user. It has always been the policy of the TSU to provide access
to the services to non-faculty users. This includes staff and students of other
faculties and departments within the university. This access is also extended
beyond the university to local councils and their various services and
departments, schools and colleges and the NHS.
