We also offer a three year joint programme in English Language and Literature. You can combine the study of language in social contexts equally with the study of language in literary texts. Central to the English Language content of this degree is a focus on language in social contexts. In English Literature, you can extend your critical awareness by applying your linguistic expertise to the in-depth study of a variety of literary texts from a range of periods.
