BSc Chemistry with a Year in Industry

Description:
The BSc programme incorporates all the latest developments in modern chemical science and has a well-proven record of providing students with a high calibre qualification leading to a wide range of professional occupations or research degrees.

In Years 1 and 2, you will cover the core chemistry training essential to a sound understanding of the subject and will then be able to choose from any number of specialisms, for example organometallics in synthesis, surface chemistry, polymers and new materials. The third year will be spent in Industry and then much of the final year is dedicated to your own research project. It is at this advanced stage of the degree that you will really start putting your Chemistry knowledge into practice.
