Entrance Scholarships

You may be eligible to receive an Entrance Scholarship worth £2,000. These scholarships are in addition to the bursaries of up to £1,385 per year (2009-10) that will be given to students in receipt of the Higher Education Maintenance Grant.

Entrance Scholarships of £2,000 will be paid to all students who achieve the qualifying requirements as stipulated by the department and specify Reading as their original FIRM choice via the UCAS system by 01 August of the year of entry.

Scholarships are open to all full-time UK/EU and non-EU undergraduates. They are not means-tested.

You do not need to apply – we will notify you if you are successful.

In 2010-11 Entrance Scholarships are offered in all programmes of more than one year duration. Check your eligibility for an Entrance Scholarship.
