About the work of Reading International Office

The Reading International Office team looks after the recruitment and interests of international students, and is concerned with international student recruitment activities.

Our role includes:

  • Representing and marketing the University overseas
  • Recruiting international students
  • Dealing with enquiries and queries from international students
  • Dealing with Overseas Representatives
  • Running the Welcome programme
  • Hosting campus visits and delegations of overseas visitors
  • Establishing links and collaborative partnerships overseas
  • Co-ordinating all non-EU Study Abroad (JYA) programmes and Erasmus, the European student and staff mobility programme
  • Advising University of Reading staff about issues affecting international students and recruitment
