Profile: Dhamayanthi Pugazhendhi

Dhamayanthi Pugazhendhi, from India, is doing a Higher Degree by Research into breast cancer : Reading University has students from different parts of the worldcon which makes it a truly international institution. The University is very friendly towards international students and makes every effort to make them feel comfortable - for example there are organisations such as Focus International, which takes students from the University to nearby places to help them settle into their new environment more quickly. The Halls of Residence also has students from all over the world, which makes it easier for students to mix with each other.
