MSc Research (Human Geography)

This 1+3 ESRC-recognised MSc equips you for research careers either in academia or in non-academic organisations where geographical skills and knowledge are required. As a student, you will gain a broadly based training in social science research philosophies and methodologies. You will be trained in data collection, analysis and interpretation techniques and in strategies for disseminating research, and will receive training in specific geographical methods. You will also develop an understanding of the ways in which philosophical and epistemological debates in the social sciences have been engaged within human geography.

Entry Requirements :

An upper second class degree in an appropriate subject, e.g. Geography, Sociology, Planning, Politics, Economics etc.
