Sustainable Livelihoods Approach - Short Course
- People-centred Analysis and Planning, April, 5 days
This five-day course aims to develop your understanding of the sustainable Livelihoods (SL) approach as a means of ensuring that people, and especially poor people, are at the centre of development and that service delivery responds to a holistic understanding of people's assets and strengths. The course aims to provide you with an understanding of the principles and framework which underlie the approach as well as action. Links between the SL approach and other frameworks, such as rights-based approaches (RBA) and project cycle management (PCM) issues, will also be explored.
The course is aimed at practitioners from public, private and non-governmental organisations.
