Flavourist Training Course - Short Course
This annual 3-week programme provides the foundation on which to build a career as a flavourist. It is normally held in May each year. The programme is run with support of the British Society of Flavourists and companies in the flavour sector. The programme is taught by experts from industry as well as from within the School of Food Biosciences.

The programme, which involves both lectures and practical exercises, covers:.
- Principles of Flavour Formulation and Flavour Creation. Flavour Chemistry and Biochemistry
- Practice of Flavour Formulation
- Application of Flavour Techniques to Specific Products, Legislation
