RUB...What?

RUBSAC is a BSAC branch based at the University of Reading which has been in existence for over 40 years. The club is run by students, for students, even though non-students are welcome, and all training is carried out by qualified BSAC instructors, all of whom are volunteers (that’s why if you see them down the pub, you should buy them a well deserved beer!)

Our members cover a range of diving qualifications who study at Reading Uni or have moved into the area, and we have also attracted divers from other agencies such as PADI. Many of our members have been with us for quite a few years, like our senior instructor Ian who joined as a student back in 1986.
