Reading University Opera
Introduction
Reading University Opera, has been a society of the Student's Union of Reading
University since 1956, and has staged an opera at least every year. Click here to see a

Reading University Opera exists to promote on interest and enjoyment of opera
through its annual staged productions, occasional concerts, theatre visits and varied social activities. Recent productions include Nabucco, Faust, Macbeth, Aida, Count Ory, Turandot last year, and earlier this year, Orpheus in the Underworld. The society is affiliated to the Students' Union but extends its membership to town and gown, and anyone wishing to join may contact the Committee by the following means.
