Anime Synopses

Soul Eater:
An action-adventure series based on the manga by Atsushi Okubo and animated by BONES (including several of the creative staff behind Fullmetal Alchemist) Set in the Shinigami Weapon Meister Vocational School, Soul Eater follows 3 weapons meisters and their human weapons on their quests to collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch in order to transform the human weapon into a Death Scythe a weapon fit to be used to the God of Death himself.

Library War:
Based on the popular light novel series by Hiro Arikawa, and animated by Production I.G., Toshokan Sensou (lit. 'Library War') is a drama/action series set in an alternate-history 2019, where the government has passed the "Media Betterment Act", allowing the censorship of all media deemed harmful to society. In retaliation, an armed force is set up to protect Library Contents under the Freedom of Libraries Law. The story follows Iku Kasahara, a young woman who is inspired to join the Kanto Library Defense Force.

Telethapy Shoujo Ran:
A shoujo series animated by TMS Entertainment. Ran is a bright and energetic first-grader in junior high school who possesses supernatual abilities. When she discovers her new psychic powers, she also meets a mysterious girl named Midori who has similar abilities...

Xam'd: Lost Memories:
A sci-fi mecha series developed by BONES. The series begins with a normal boy named Akiyuki living on the tranquil island of Sentan which is cut off from the surrounding war zones. This changes however when Akiyuki and his friends are caught in an explosion, which leads to Akiyuki’s transformation into a bizarre, powerful creature called “Xam’d”. He goes on a rampage and is only stopped when a red-haired girl appears and tells him he will turn to stone unless he goes with her.. 

Natsume Yuujinchou:
In Animated by Brains-Base and based on the supernatural manga by Yuki Midorikawa. The story follows the life of Natsume, an introverted boy who inherited his ability to see ghosts and spirits from his deceased grandmother. He also inherits a book of spirits’ names, and discovers that the spirits named in the book were bound by contact to her, so he sets out to return all the names in the book and release the spirits from their contract.

Detroit Metal City:
Michishio A comedy series based on the popular manga by Kiminori Wakasugi and animated by Studio 4°C; Soichi Negishi is a calm, sweet guy who wants to be a pop singer, but he leads a double life as Krauser II, the frontman of Detroit Metal City, a rising indie Death Metal band – and his two personalities just aren’t compatible.
