The Handbook

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Handbook! These pages contain local documents on various Aikido subjects. Most of them are questions and advice that have come up on the Aikido mailing list and other aikido related WWW sources since December 1994. The messages have been sniped and are hopefully attributed to the correct person - if you find any errors please let me know. Feel free to take copies of anything that you find useful. The advice here comes with no gaurentees (in particular you should always consult a qualified physician or physiotherapist in the case of injuries) .

The latest edition of the Club Handbook is available. It includes a crib sheet for regularly used japanese terms, names of techniques, the code of conduct and dojo ettiquette, the grading syllabus up to Shodan and reprints of Sensei's articles that have appeared in Kyu Said? (the club magazine) over the last few years. Contact one of the committe if you would like to purchase a copy (hardcopy and for members only!).
