The Roman Landscape has been the subject of a number of new interpretations by both ancient historians and archaeologists. The seminar series highlighted the changes in approach to the study of landscape of the Roman world that have occurred in the last few years. The series also concerned itself with the reception of the landscapes of Roman antiquity in both painting and film.
All talks took place on Wednesdays at 5pm.
