What our students say

'The academic and personal support that I've had over the past three years from the School has been great. University is very different from sixth form and, whilst the University gives you lots of room for self-directed study, there is always someone there to talk to - be that by e-mail, phone or in person. It's definitely helped me in studying and throughout the whole of my university experience!'

Rachel Cholerton

'What convinced me to come to Reading to study was the wide range of areas covered on the course and the impressive equipment used in the School for research, such as the MRI scanner. For me personally, it was the best decision I've ever made as it's also given me the opportunity to study in America for a term, which not many universities offer. I'm excited to go into my third year of the course as, although it is a lot of hard work, I am not sure how it can get much better!'

Sophie Hulse

'I never thought I'd enjoy studying a subject as much as I do now and that's thanks to the lecturers who are all so passionate about their areas of study.'

Kirstie Bough

'The University has given me the platform to get involved in several volunteering placements, and also to plan my own fundraising for the homeless community in Reading, which is really exciting. I finally feel like I'm making a positive impact on the community.'
