'If Ben were here tonight, he would recognise in Charlotte a kindred spirit because she is talented, reliable, friendly and always a pleasure to work with. She is a positive force in any ensemble, working always for the benefit of her peers. It is a testament to her standing that she received multiple nominations for this award. She is a worthy recipient of the Ben Pedley Award and sets the bar very high for those who will follow her.'
