Whiteknights Hall is in a quiet location on the northern edge of the campus of the University of Reading, about a ten minute walk from the Agriculture Building where the conference papers will be delivered. A three storey extension to the Hall was opened in 1991 with 130 en-suite rooms where the majority of the conference delegates will be housed. In addition we have reserved a number of rooms with washbasins at a lower rate for postgraduates and those seeking cheaper accommodation in the older part of the Hall, built in the 1970s. Six to ten bedrooms share bathroom facilities and a kitchen area. The campus itself is one of the more attractive campuses in the UK and the walk across the park is a very pleasant one. Buses into the centre of Reading stop near the entrance to the Hall and local shops are about ten minutes walk from the Hall. The Hall is accustomed to hosting conferences and will make every effort to welcome delegates. There is parking at the hall for delegates' cars and, if delegates wish to drive to the Agriculture Building, there is parking there.
