Widen your horizons

At Reading we offer the opportunity to study a wide range of languages at a variety of levels.  There is flexibility in the type of course offered and, if studying for a degree, you may combine a language with a wide variety of other subjects.

Japanese

• You can study Japanese as a module within your degree.  This is taught as part of the Institution-Wide Language Programme (IWLP).  Most programmes allow you to take 20 credits per year with IWLP as part of your degree. IWLP information
