Life at CME

As a full-time postgraduate student, we will help you settle in with a 'welcome' meeting in Freshers' week and an informal social outing in the first week of term. MSc courses usually attract around 20 students each year, so it is easy to get to know your colleagues. Staff are very approachable; their doors are always open. There is plenty of group work, which will involve you in working closely with your fellow students. Other events through the year include field trips to energy generation sites, a graduation party, and an end of course conference and celebration in September.

As a part-time student you will have the opportunity to network with other professional colleagues making both valuable contacts and lasting friendships. Students are encouraged to form study groups and participate in social evenings during module attendance weeks. Approachable staff are always on hand to advise and assist you throughout your time at University.
