The School of Construction Management and Engineering at the University of Reading is one of the world’s largest, most prestigious and top rating institutions dealing with the built environment. The extent of our collaborative work is vast. Our almost 100 strong academic team work on the some of world’s most advanced R&D projects ever, from one-off solutions to a multi-million pound Grand Challenge project including 11 universities and in excess of 40 industrial partners; from cricket inspired aerospace composite materials and embedded sensor technology for understanding occupant behaviour to more than 16,000 procurement routes and healthcare infrastructure.
