CfAM provides regular Discover CfAM sessions to enable new researchers and supervisors to discover the facilities available in CfAM and to explore how these could help their research programmes.

User Training
Training for CfAM users is provided through workshops, 1:1 hands on-training and on-line training. Users and prospective users should contact the Manager to identify the training requirements

Customised Training
CfAM offers customised training to visiting scientists and staff from other microscopy facilities to enable them to develop their experience and expertise in microscopy. We are able to tailor a training and/or support programme to match the needs of your facility and instrumentation.

Continual Professional Development
The Centre for Advanced Microscopy trains and supports some of the leading scientists in the UK. This training is available to those with no experience of microscopy to those wishing to develop a broader portfolio of skills or experience of current practise. A number of Short Courses are available as well as modules which can be selected to form your own personalised course.
