Imagine if you'd never finished your studies, and never obtained your qualifications. Imagine if you'd never met your friends, never had those experiences, never enjoyed the opportunities that university brings.
Sadly, some of the most talented students are being forced to give up their education because of a sudden and unexpected financial crisis. Please donate today in order to help keep a hardworking, talented student like Huyiee at the University of Reading.
Huiyee found herself in financial crisis when her father went into a coma at her home in Malaysia. Huiyee returned home and sadly, he passed away two weeks later. Her father's great wish for an education for his daughter nearly came to end as she struggled to return to the UK. Fortunately she was given an emergency grant from the Hardship Fund. Her father had never attended school, and would have been so proud that his daughter was able to graduate.
"Without the support of donors, I would not be where I am today."
Whatever the reason, a small emergency grant from the Hardship Fund means that students won't have to give up university and their dreams. Only with the generosity of alumni like you can the Hardship Fund continue to help students in crisis.
To keep a student's dreams alive please give now.
