A router, used for cutting grooves into wood to accommodate a panel or glass. The balde is stamped with the name of the manufacturer, 'Buck / Tot Court Road', suggesting is was made by the firm Buck & Ryan. It was found near a pond at the donor's farm in Cornwall.
