Lotus on Track track day at Snetterton on 16th April 2007

This was a great session for me at the Lotus on Track track day at Snetterton on 16th April 2007. My first outing in the Elise (bog standard with Toyo T1R tyres, so nothing superfast). It was my first time at Snetterton as well. Superb event. Here I am chasing a v nice 111S

My first track day in the Elise and first visit to Snetterton. I only had one session to put into practice the instruction I had from Malcolm, so I should be able to do better than this with more practice. Anyway, here's my best lap.

Here I am trying (and failing) to keep up with John in his very smart S2 Exige.

I was advised to take the final chicane (Russell) by trail braking truning right and then being aggressive with the throttle on the exit to help straighten the car up. Good advice, but poor application (too agressive on cold tyres!). Here's the result.
