FAIRTRADE PUBLIC LECTURE WITH JOHN STEEL, CEO, CAFEDIRECT

Staff, students and members of the public are invited to join us for a public lecture with guest speaker John Steel, CEO at Caf├ędirect.

Caf├ędirect was the first coffee brand in the UK to carry the Fairtrade mark.

As part of Fairtrade Fortnight (Monday 24 February - Sunday 8 March 2020), the Department of Economics and the Chaplaincy are co-hosting this exciting event which aims to shine a light on the Fairtrade movement.

The focus could stretch across several Fairtrade themes including: Social Enterprise, B Corp, Values in business, purpose-led business, small holder farmers and climate change.

We hope you can join our discussions alongside the University Fairtrade Committee and other local sponsors, vendors and advocates.

Reservations are free. Booking is essential.
