In Limbo: Brexit testimonies from EU citizens in the UK
Not just another Talk about Brexit
What does it mean to be a European citizen today? And how will Brexit impact the lives both of the British and of the non-British EU residents of the UK? Away from the clashes of politicians and business leaders, this evening focuses on the human realities entailed by the Brexit project.
Elena Remigi explores with Professor Andrew Knapp the personal experiences of EU citizens living in Britain since the 2016 Referendum through the book which she has co-edited, In Limbo: Brexit testimonies from EU citizens in the UK (2017). Extracts from the book will be read during this event.
Thursday 1 February 2018, 6.00pm-8pm, Palmer Building 1.09, Whiteknights campus. The event is hosted by the Department of Modern Languages and European Studies.
