The above listed project members are the principle academics working on the 123 Agreement project from the two partner institutions. In addition, in April 2012, Ms. Kymberley Freedman will begin a doctoral project at the University of Reading emerging from the themes of the 123 Agreement project. Kym studied the 123 Agreement as an M Res student under the auspices of the project, and will begin work on a PhD thesis provisionally entitled "To What Extent are Non-Party States Bound by NPT Obligations under Customary International Law?", supervised by project members Dr. James A. Green and Dr. Robert P. Barnidge, Jr.
More generally, students in both Reading and Chennai have contributed (and continue to contribute) significantly to the project, through seminar-based discussions and by producing written papers.
As well as academics and students based at the two partner institutions, the project also involves work by numerous other scholars from around the world; additional academics and students have produced research papers for the workshops and have been involved in a wide range of research and teaching collaboration with the principal project members.
